Duration: 6 months Interviews: Phone then face to face At least 5 years experience in DB2 relational database work, must have exceptional hands-on application DBA skills. • DB2 AIX version 9.5 and above (SQL, Temp tables, plan explains, Materialized Query Table, multidimensional clustering, Partitioning, Local indexes, referential integrity constraints, etc) • The candidate must be familiar Erwin or some similar modeling tool • The candidate must be familiar with scripting language such as Perl and Unix / K-Shell . • The candidate must have strong knowledge base of relational database performance and tuning such as: proper use of indices, database statistics/reorgs, de-normalization concepts, ... • Responsible for verifying all data to be entered into database meets set standards and requirements. • Identifies, tests and resolves complex database issues (e.g., monitoring and tuning). • Defines, recommends and develops database standards, procedures and architecture. • Designs data models and DW database designs. • The candidate must have written and debugged stored procedure.
