Provide maintenance and support for JAVA applications as needed. Provide project leadership. Facilities and Equipment: The work will be conducted on-site in the Tallahassee office. If the Contractor uses their own computer laptop, the equipment will be subjected to a security review by the Customer in order to ensure it is free of software viruses and does not otherwise pose a security threat prior to connection to the Customer’s network. DIS shall provide: items such as working facilities, development and testing environments, equipment and licenses, access to DFS network, internet connectivity, etc. Note: Contractors with access to the Department’s network are required to complete the Department’s Security Awareness Training. This training shall be completed within 30 calendar days of Contractor’s start date. *Background check:* A background screening shall be completed on the selected candidate(s). Review and approval of level 2 background check, including fingerprinting, will be required for each selected candidate before a contract will be issued. DFS will provide detailed instructions for fingerprinting upon selection. The fingerprints will be used to check the criminal history records of the FBI (depending on the contract scope, the fingerprints may be used on an ongoing basis to check the criminal history records of the FBI which may include expunged records) and Procedures for obtaining a change, correction, or updating of an FBI identification record are described in 28 CFR 16.34. Results will be used to determine each candidate’s eligibility for access to DFS’ systems and/or contract award.
