*Job Description :*
Ensures the overall health of the Business Objects Application
Applies service packs, upgrades and hot fixes as required.
Configures Business Objects application based on customer requirements
Assures new users and projects can access software without problems.
Expertise Application and user Security
Perform code promotions and test that reports are operating correctly.
Designs, implements, and maintains Business Objects Application security
Serves as an escalation point for high priority Business Objects issue.
Communicate with end users on report or environment issues.
Analyze compatibility of Business Objects products with the
hardware/software
Ability to interact with client and translate business requirements into
technical solutions
Generate written documentation of all work performed.
Have a customer-focused demeanor, effective oral and written communication
skills.
Co-ordinate with Business Objects Support (SAP) for any unresolved issues
and tool specific issues or hot fixes/patches

*Required Qualifications:*
Four or more years of experience performing Business Objects Administration
tasks such as installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of the
Business Objects software components in a Windows environment
Thorough understanding and previous working experience performing code
promotion activities.
Past experience supporting applications and reporting solutions that
connect to Teradata, DB2, or Oracle and HANA databases.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of databases such as Teradata, DB2,
Oracle and HANA
Strong analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot application
issues
Strong oral and written communication skills
Good team player; works well with others.
Configuration and Administration of Business Objects Server Components and
Services
Security Management - Administration of Business Objects Users
Setup and Maintain Disaster Recovery services for Business Objects
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute on assigned deliverables
Ability to quickly learn new systems and business processes
