*Position:** LINUX/UNIX Administrator* *Duration: 1 Year* *Location:** Des Moines, IA * *Only GC & Citizens please..* *Required Skills: * · UNIX System Administration experience with Linux as the core operating system · Apache HTTP server experience · firewall administration · full time technical support experience in a complex networking or web hosting environment · Unix scripting skills (e.g. Perl, Bash, TCL, cURL, etc.) At least a general working knowledge of web applications, protocols, concepts, methodologies · Operational support for proxy, load balancing and Internet filtering services for additional security, performance, capacity and availability of host · Operational support for secure, high volume DNS services and SSL cert management. · Configure and maintain secure network infrastructure in conformance with security standards and best practices. Assigned systems include enterprise · Manage networks and assigned systems to prevent unauthorized access while insuring efficient transmission.
