Senior Release Engineer with AWS Redwood City, CA 6-12 months GC and Citizen or Great comm. Skills not less than 9 out of 10. Job Summary: As a Sr. Release Engineer, you will work with agile teams to automate all aspects of the software development/delivery process from inception to deployment and operations. Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Deployment automation using Jenkins - Perform all build release and configuration management and implement best practices for branching/merging/tagging and patch handling - Manage source code repositories and implement change control processes - Support multiple code lines and build and deliver frequent releases - Troubleshoot and isolate build/deployment issues versus code/data issues - Work in an Agile development cycle, communicate efficiently and coordinate build schedules between teams - Manage AWS and optimize usage, work with dev team to understand requirements based on applications and data - Responsible for all deployments to Development, QA, Staging and Production environments - Work closely with Operations team for provisioning of hardware and provide support for production releases - Ensure reproducibility, auditability and traceability of all deliverables - Develop, improve and document build processes and procedures - May direct the work of offshore resources and external vendors Job Requirements - 5+ years of experience in a Release Engineering role - Continuous Integration experience (Hudson/ Jenkins preferred) - Experience in build/release activities on AWS - Experience in AWS Management Console administration - Expert in SCM administration (GIT, SVN) - Strong scripting and automation skills including shell and one or more Perl, Python or similar language - Expert in building and deploying J2EE based web applications in a linux environment - BS/BA degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline Nice to have: · Experience as DevOps Engineer · Knowledge of Artifactory, AWS CloudFormation and SaltStack · AWS provisioning, monitoring and troubleshooting · Java programming experience -- Thanks&Regards, Srilatha ReachIT LLC 39039 Paseo Padre PKWY Suite # 207 Fremont CA- 94538 srila...@reachitsolutions.us <vic...@reachitsolutions.us> -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
