*Job Description: *

The client seeks an SQL developer with extensive Oracle Tuning experience.



*Job Requirement*

•       10+ years of SQL development experience including but not limited
to the creation of packages, procedures, tables views, functions, etc.

•       10+ years of experience in Database Star Schema and or Snow flake
schema in First, Second and Third normal form.

•       8+ years of experience in *PL/SQL tuning including knowledge of
Explain Plans AWR, ASH and TKPROF *

•       Knowledge of Oracle 10g, 11g, and 12c with use of tools such as SQL
Developer, TOAD and ERWIN.

•       Must have knowledge on how to build/maintain efficient database
tables structure for both transactional and warehouse data.

•       Knowledge of Oracle partitioning practices and data archival
structures and processes.

•       Must have the ability to work with the system analysts to translate
business requirements to database structure as well has communicate the
design to the front end development staff.

•       Fluent in the Agile programming paradigm.



*Preferred Skills: *

•       Experience developing/tuning Oracle for use with MicroStrategy

•       Able to adhere to client development standards and SOX compliance

•       Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both
business and technical

•       Proven ability to develop and maintain system documentation

•       Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction

•       Java experience a plus



*Additional Provisions: *

•       Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug
screening, criminal history check and credit check.

•       If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of
employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.

•       All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager
or his/her designated representative.

•       The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e. collared shirt
with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women.
