*Very Urgent Need PL/SQL Developer in Edina, MN for 3 Months Contract.... Responsibilities: This role will participate in software development and support efforts for large client applications using Oracle llG databases. Duties include: Analyzing database design requests and creating databases according to client needs Developing PL/SQL modules such as packages, triggers, procedures and functions. Heavily involved in Performance Tuning at the application level. Developing reports using Oracle reports Developing UNIX Shell scripts that will interact with the PL/SQL Objects. Document and perform unit testing for all components prior to migrating them to production. Maintain existing applications* *Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of software development experience with Oracle and will possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or **MIS. Additionally, qualified candidates will have: * *Ability to demonstrate experience in the following: Oracle 11G PL/SQL SQL * *Must be able to demonstrate strong understanding of Relational Database Management Systems including design, normalization, indexing, tuning, etc. Experience in coding PL/SQL program units Experience and Knowledge in various application tuning techniques Understanding of UNIX operating system and the ability to code and understand UNIX Shell scripting Understanding of Oracle Developer tools such as Reports Builder. Accountable for providing high quality and accurate results. Must be able to assist and work with the users to resolve production issues in a timely fashion Is a ‘team player’ and has an organizational commitment in supporting the division’s technical direction. Excellent communication, listening, analytical and problem solving skills Experience with Oracle Objects is a plus. Experience in working with web application is a plus.
