Please send me your consultant resumes to soundha...@reachitsolutions.us *Sharepoint BI Developer to join our team in Atlanta, GA.* *6 Months* *GC/USC* Job Description: The SharePoint BI Developer will assist in the design and building of dashboards and reporting for the client The developer must demonstrate broad and deep knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting while working with the business users to determine the business requirements and apply the business rules to the data. This developer will also perform quality assurance to ensure the accuracy of the reports. Specific Responsibilities: - Facilitates reporting requirements discussions to capture report design and data requirements - Designs, develops, tests and troubleshoots dashboards and reports developed from the Data Warehouse and the Operational Data Store utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), PowerPivot, Performance Point and other BI tools - Work closely with SharePoint team to integrate report/dashboard delivery via organization intranet. - Assist in the development of a reporting security matrix to ensure data exposure at appropriate organization levels of authority - Assist in the evaluation of other reporting products. - Ensures quality and accuracy of the reports. - Ensures that all reports perform optimally and are tuned for maximum efficiency. - Provides monitoring and support of existing production reporting. - Ensures the security of reports and information. - Communicates open items and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, and business areas. Requirements - A minimum of 4 years of experience in development of BI/Data Warehouse solutions via Microsoft SSRS, SSAS, PowerPivot and Performance Point. SQL Server 2008 is required and experience with SQL Server 2012 is preferred. - A minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing the SharePoint BI platform. A minimum of SharePoint 2010 is required and SharePoint 2013 is preferred. - Strong T-SQL skills including advanced coding and performance and tuning. - Strong understanding of DW processes and OLAP concepts, with star and snowflake data models. - Experience utilizing source control software. TFS preferred. - Strong skills in developing business requirements and documentation utilizing the Microsoft Office suite. (Please provide sample work if available.) - Excellent analytical, conceptual, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communications skills, able to work effectively with business users to understand and clarify requirements as well as educate and resolve end user reporting issues. - Ability to work with multiple different deadlines and priorities while managing work load within a fast paced, energetic, and dynamic workplace. - Be self-driven with the desire to achieve measurable, specific results within tight time frames. - Ability to work under pressure to resolve critical production issues. - Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams as well as independent setting. - Experience in an educational environment preferred.
