The selected candidate will maintain and support the enterprise. As part of the team, the engineer will be responsible to identify, create, and execute the Engineering processes and procedures required to maintain a high level of service for the production Network systems. A very important requirement of the position will involve creating and maintaining graphical and text-based documentation and standards development for the enterprise Network infrastructure. In addition to technical expertise, the candidate should also demonstrate leadership qualities and the ability to interact at all levels of corporate management. Must be available for 24x7 rotational on-call and for scheduled maintenance windows. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and support Enterprise Network systems in conjunction with other engineering platform specialists. Plan and coordinate, install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain all Network platform technologies. Create and maintain infrastructure standards documentation as it relates to infrastructure systems design, configuration, support, and processes Manage capacity and performance of the Network platform ensuring the integrity of the infrastructure. Proactively monitor, test, collect and analyze system performance statistical data to improve quality of the Network environment. Diagnose and resolve complex configuration and troubleshooting issues within a multi-vendor infrastructure. Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 5 years of Engineering or similar. Specialized knowledge of the definition, design and implementation of CISCO network platforms. 2+ years of experience in supporting large corporate network. CISCO CCNP or CCDP certification Possess advanced skills with Cisco networking, DNS, IP administration, and VPN technologies. Knowledge of CISCO Routing & Switching, Network Security, LAN/WAN Protocols, and Wireless Networks. Expertise in LAN/WAN protocols Ability to produce detailed documentation including data flow diagrams, logical diagrams, and physical diagrams as required.
