*Position: Mainframe Developer* *Location: Morton, IL*
*Duration: 6+ Months* *Job Description:* · The main function of an Analyst/Developer is to develop, modify, and implement computer application software changes including integration tasks for in-house developed systems and/or purchased software solutions. · The person filling this assignment will be a member of the Legacy Integration development team within Caterpillar's Logistics Information Services. They will develop interfaces and system changes required to allow new SAP systems to interface with existing legacy applications, including Warehousing, Customer Orders and Invoicing, and Material and Inventory Management systems. · Working directly on application and technical problem identification and resolution · Analyzing, designing, building, testing and implementing application and interface enhancements. · Following a structured development methodology · Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components. · Designing and implementing processes or process improvements to aid in development and support. *Required Experience:* · 3-6 years of progressively responsible IT job related experiences · Experience in Mainframe COBOL, TSO, CICS, JCL, DB2 · Experience with the System Development Life Cycle including gathering requirements, designing, coding, testing, and implementing system solutions. · Proficiency in a computer software application or programming language specifically identified in the assignment requirements.
