Working in close partnership with the business users, they must have the hands-on ability to troubleshoot software configuration and data flows for accuracy. It is essential that this individual can document process changes and communicate effectively with end users. This position will also be a vendor liaison and a front-line technician around issues that arise in the application. This person will support, and frequently lead requirements gathering activities and subsequent configuration and testing of the Revitas system to support evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the unique contracting strategies specific to the Life Sciences industry and an ability to envision creative solutions to address those unique challenges. Ideally this understanding is a result of hands on experience via work at either a Pharmaceutical/Biotech manufacturer or direct involvement through consulting experience. *Duties and Responsibilities*: · Support the Contracts and Pricing team as Subject Matter Expert of the Revitas application suite including Commercial and Medicaid Rebates, Government Pricing, and Analytics. · Leverage understanding of Revitas systems to identify areas for improvement while supporting the system in its current state. · Assist business users with the filing and tracking of interface and technical issues through the Biogen Idec IT Support Organization.
