*Business Analyst 6+ Months Contract Baltimore, MD* *Job Description: *BA at NGS in Baltimore Suburbs, resume are due by tomorrow at 5pm EST – bolded is what they need to have, also any healthcare background is a MAJOR plus- Must be in USA for 3yrs in order to pass a CMS clearance process (trust level 6) *Background:* Collaborates with Business and IT partners to facilitate and support the gathering of high level business requirements, and then turning those into detail requirements that are provided to the business owners to approve. Provide the level of support needed to for design, development, and testing, to ensure customer expectations are satisfied and projects are completed with quality. *Competencies and Qualifications: **Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Build and maintains strong relationships with Business and IT partners. Business and IT partners include internal customers, government employees, and contractors for the government. *Strong technical knowledge with the ability to turn technical requirements into business language and vice versa. *Strong communication skills, listening, as well as speaking with clarity and accuracy, and then documenting what was heard into requirements. *Ability to take requirements and develop a test traceability matrix that completes the development circle with a one for one requirement to test in order to make sure that the business requirements are satisfied. *Certified Business Analyst Professional given special consideration. *Ability to support business and IT, and recognize when additional scope or requirements are identified that would impact the project. *Supports project manager, architect, and developer during all cycles of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). *Understands and applies relevant requirement gathering sessions, using Agile techniques, as well as Waterfall, as appropriate. *Experience reviewing, and understanding request for proposals and ensuring that the appropriate business analyst and testing functions are identified and accounted for in a proposal *Project Deliverables:* *Requirement workshops with the business/sponsors and appropriate IT personnel. *Create requirements matrix, and translate into a test traceability matrix. *Perform testing and update the test traceability matrix with the testing results.
