DESCRIPTION and RESPONSIBILITIES

KMM Technologies is seeking a full time Senior SAS Platform Administrator
to work with our client, Located at  Chapel Hill, NC. The consultant will
ensure that the SAS servers, as well as applicable security infrastructure
and its systems and processes, are aligned with tactical and strategic
information management initiatives. The Administrator will plan, coordinate
and implement the SAS product maintenance patches and upgrades, backups,
troubleshoot SAS system related problems, and be responsible for the
overall availability of the SAS tools and software environment. Other
responsibilities may include maintaining the SAS software roadmap,
presenting technical briefings to the support staff, developers and the
management team.



QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL

 Metadata Experience with SAS Management Console (including Management
plug-in, Scheduling plug-in, and Folders tab).

 Unix Experience with multi-tier SAS environments on a platform

 background Experience with SAS configuration files and administering SAS
Mid-tier (i.e., Workspace and OLAP Servers).

 with VA, Experience with SAS EBI, EDI, and Model Manager HDFS and LASR

DESCRIPTION and RESPONSIBILITIES

KMM Technologies  is seeking a full time VISUAL ANALYTICS / Enterprise
Business Intelligence Architect / Developer to work with our client, a tax
services company in the Kansas City, MO.

The consultant will assist the client to architect, design and develop VA
and EBI reports, graphs, visualizations and dashboards. The consultant will
use SAS Visual Analytics and Enterprise Business Intelligence products to
develop the visualizations and reports. The consultant must have excellent
communication skills and must be able to communicate about the techniques
developed and results of analysis both to executives and oth er analysts in
the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL

• Experience using SAS Visual Analytics 7.1 or higher in a distributed
environment, including:

o Loading data in LASR Analytic Server and experience with Visual Data
Builder

o Experience with VA Explorer and VA Designer

o Developing Visualizations, Reports and Dashboards

• Experience developing reports and content with SAS 9.4 Enterprise
Business Intelligence products including:

o Utilizing Enterprise Guide and its functionality to create project flows
which could include aspects of data access, manipulation, summarization,
and report generation to a variety of output formats and channels, etc.

o Using Information Map Studio and its functionality to map physical data
to business elements. (As an example, creating various types of prompts,
filters, data elements, etc.)

o Using Web Report Studio and its functionality to create web reports. As
an example, use filters and prompts created within information maps,
provide report linking, modify report layouts, schedule reports to run
automatically, etc.)

o Using the Information Delivery Portal as means for users to view reports.
Creating portlets and content to these newly created or pre-existing
portlets.

o Creating various OLAP cubes using functionality of OLAP Cube Studio. As
an example,

creating various dimensions and hierarchies, drill-through, performance
tuning, aggregations, member-level metrics, etc.

o Creating and using Stored Processes for the creation of customized web
output, to include:

o Leveraging and utilizing the creation and passing of parameters from one
Stored Process to another via hyperlinks, listboxes, textboxes, etc. (The
appropriate use of Macro coding, macro variables, and Macro functions to
ensure correct parameter passing is vital)

o Utilize knowledge of Macro variables available to processes running under
the stored process

o Leveraging the ability for creating session variables & passing
parameters as macro variables for chaining Stored Processes

o Ability to know when to use canned SAS PROCs versus Macro / DATA step /
PUT statements to produce desired output Creating and modifying SAS BI
Dashboards using available functionality. As an example, defining data
sources, ranges, KPIs and the Dashboard



• Be proficient in Base SAS programming (DATA step), SQL programming (i.e.,
use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS Macro language for
use in making code more efficient

• Leveraging and utilizing SAS Output Delivery System (ODS)

• Use SAS Management Console to administer SAS EBI metadata. Design,
implement and maintain (perhaps with the client SAS Administrator) the BI
security framework (access rights and privileges, user roles / groups,
LDAP, SSO, etc.).

• SQL and Oracle RDBMS experience

visualizations and reports. The consultant must have excellent
communication skills and must be able to communicate about the techniques
