Job Title: Digital Business Analyst (CMS )

Location:  Boston, MA

Length:6-8 Months extension likely

Interview Process: *Phone Interview, then In-person*



This is a multi-year project. Focus on finding the following:

1.    Solid Sr. BSA with excellent communication skills

2.    Has worked on CMS projects ( client uses AEM but we are willing to
look at any other CMS’s too as long as they have strong CMS experience )

3.    Worked on Mobile/Ipad related projects – BA will work in the client
web & iPad space  - this experience would be great to have.

 4.  Any financial experience ( nice to have )



Requirements: Job Summary:

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will have a prominent role in gathering
and documenting requirements for our new Adobe Enterprise Management CMS.
Person will also independently meet with management and business partners
at all levels of the organization to gather business requirements. Develop
and maintain formal specifications that clearly outline the key
requirements elicited from business users. Work with Enterprise
Architecture Team (EA), Enterprise Information Management (EIM), external
vendors and internal IT development resources to develop, test, and deploy
web site code and systems, including integrations with MFS custom developed
internal and external vendor systems.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Meet with key stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements
related to enhancements for MFS.com and maintaining support to MFS.com and
related systems. Deliver world-class digital solutions aligned with MFS
goals and strategies.

• Create business requirement documents including but not limited to BRD’s,
Functional Specs, detailed work flow diagrams, use cases, business process
flows and data flow diagrams

• Work to understand internal client's business needs above and beyond the
immediate requirements and convert them into functional specifications.
Work with business units, Enterprise Information Management (EIM) and the
Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) to determine timetable for
completing requests

• Liaison between business units, Enterprise Architecture (EA), EIM and
EPMO to ensure proper implementation of requirements within the expected
timeframe. Communicate any material modifications of the business
requirements to impacted teams

• Write high level test plans for system changes. Review results of manual
functional and automated tests with IT Quality Assurance (QA) Team

• Document data modeling requirements for enterprise integration. Work with
EIM to establish and enforce relevant standards and procedures for data
governance

• Partner with EA and EIM to ensure project related work is adhering to
data quality and data governance guidelines

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 5+ yrs. professional
experience in web / application technology, ideally working for an
investment management firm.

• Hands-on experience with and strong knowledge of Adobe Enterprise Manager

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with
ability to negotiate and influence critical decisions

• Ability to write clear and concise business requirements for enterprise
wide initiatives

• Ability to present technical concepts in business terms when eliciting,
validating and prioritizing requirements

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under tight deadlines

• Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make independent
decisions

• A firm understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
methodologies

• Proven ability to develop creative solutions to meet business needs

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with employees at all
organizational levels.

• Self-motivated individual who has the ability to work well in a
challenging, fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Marketing background preferred

• Familiar with organizing / implementing training programs and the
creation of training guides

• BSA experience as a member of a larger team that was responsible for the
design, development, implementation and testing of corporate web site
properties, for both the desktop and mobile platforms

• Familiarity with user experience best practices that include but are not
limited to prototyping, research methods, usability testing, human factors
design, and localization / globalization

• Experience with Teamsite content management system

• Experience playing a lead BSA role while working with Agile project
methodology on large-scale initiatives
