The consultant will assist the client to design, develop and to optimize occupancy forecasting and revenue management processes and procedures into business initiatives. The consultant must have excellent communication skills and must be able to communicate about the techniques developed and results of analysis both to executives and other analysts in the organization. QUALIFICATIONS – ESSENTIAL Must have extensive past experience of working in a revenue management project for travel and hospitality industry (Car Rental, Hotel or Airlines). The consultant must have this domain experience. Consultant will be working with our client to optimize revenue management and occupancy forecasts processes and procedures. Proficient in requirements definition, analysis and documentation. Develop, write, and communicate functional and non-functional requirements. Ability to lead and drive the requirements phase of the SDLC. Ability to lead, design, and facilitate requirements workshops and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions. Develop reusable methodologies and best practices. Assist the Program Manager and the development team members in project planning. Typical projects will involve system implementation, process redesign and/or analytics. Assess client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to prioritize immediate business needs and recommend options, risks and cost vs. benefits. Understanding of gathering to-be business requirements, documenting functional specifications and user acceptance testing activities. Define and document process flows. Most of the work off-site with possibility of travel for checkpoint meetings to customer or to SAS. Good written and spoken communications skills in English and thought-leadership skills.
