Below is a summary of the position. *Position: **Agile **Business Analyst* Location : Birmingham AL Duration : 1 year contract Rate : $45/hr. for 3-5 years’ experience *General Summary:* Formulates proposals for business processes and information needs by analyzing existing systems, workflow, and procedures. Defining and implementing technical and procedural improvements. Will be working on a fast pace Agile team dedicated to implementing an enterprise tool to manage workflows, for customer requests and other business processes. *Key Responsibilities:* 1. Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for FLO (BBVA’s Complaint Management, Ticketing Platform and Workflow Management) 2. Develop in-depth knowledge of the information needs of the business unit 3. Developing, documenting, and reviewing business requirements. 4. Researching the background for user stories 5. Participate in development and reviewing functional design documents, Use Cases and Stories. 6. Support in the generation of user guides, job aids, and release communications. Interact with team members and business units to identify and implement workflow improvements. 7. Review and approve test results. *Qualifications / Skills / Experience: * 1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field or equivalent professional experience. 2. Requires a thorough knowledge of standard PC applications including MS Excel, MS Word, etc. 3. Requires thorough knowledge of Agile Project Management Software (Jira, Versionone, TargetProcess, PlanBox, Axosoft, etc.) 4. Candidate must be self-directed with strong written and verbal communication skills. 5. Requires exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Ability to work well with others in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and with changing priorities in order to meet deadlines. 7.
