Require a BASIS/Platform resource with SCM Experience to manage the SCM landscape for multiple SCM usage types: BASIS team member responsible for platform management of SCM landscape under direction of technical lead and enterprise architect. Includes SNC, SNP, DP/CTM, EM, and TM across four tiers (sandbox to production). BASIS configuration, integration, and monitoring of SAP SCM on HANA instances. Perform BASIS/Platform tasks including: · Sizing and Capacity Planning. · Integration Setup (Logical Systems/Ports/RFC/CIF/qRFC/etc.) · Configure SCM functionality using underlying BW functionality: Embedded BW Setup, Technical · Content Management, and Content Activation Client Copies & Comparisons as Needed. · Parameter Maintenance and Tuning. · Transport Route Setup and Management. · Spool, Batch, and Job Management. · RFC Queue Setup and Maintenance. · Coordinating and Advise Software Logistics (Patches/Upgrades/Notes) w/ SAP HEC Cloud Team • Create and maintain RFC connections and other integration points between SAP systems including trusted RFCs and CIF. • Work with functional team members to troubleshoot and analyze problems. • Research SAP Support Portal for reported issues, technology updates, configuration options. Open and track support Incidents for BASIS related issues. • Maintain thorough documentation based on approved methods, approach, and strategies for SAP BASIS configuration Processes and procedures. Prepare and package documentation in support of knowledge transfer.
