By delivering the technology behind travel, the client is working magic behind the scenes every day to make the world a better place, one journey at a time. *JOB DESCRIPTION:* * This role will be responsible for the development and execution of a Business Process Reengineering methodology/plan that enables Airlines Solution to achieve more scalable, efficient and agile business processes for multiple solutions areas across its product portfolio. * This position will take ambiguous business problems and, using research, best practice and business assessment capabilities, define the and model the problem, mine data, analyze the situation, apply statistical knowledge, drive innovative ideas for business solutions and ensure proposed solutions meet the needs of the business. * This position will ensure that proposed solutions align with strategic goals and objectives regarding products and services; organizational structures; capabilities; and key business initiatives. * When needed, this role will oversee and/or execute on the following: * Develop a methodology based on Lean and Six Sigma principles to identify opportunities to reduce cost and streamline current processes * Based on opportunities identified develop and manage an implementation that bring said opportunities to fruition * Deal with ambiguous problems and assist leaders in developing a hypothesis-driven approach to solving business issues at hand through the application of structured problem solving methodologies like Lean Six Sigma, BPR, TQM * Oversee and apply statistical analysis like forecasting, regression analysis, ANOVA, stochastic process optimization, design of experiments, descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing * Coach and train other team members in Lean and Six Sigma and Agile Software Development principles * Prepare and deliver status reports to multiple audiences up to C-level executives *REQUIRED SKILLS:* * * Project management * Lean and Six Sigma Principles * Agile Software Development Methods * Advanced knowledge of Excel, Visual Basic for Applications * *EDUCATION:* * Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Computer Science, Systems and Information Technology Engineering.
