Job position : *C++ Sybase Developer* Location : New York, NY Duration : 12 + Months Rates : $60 /hr C2C *Primary Skills:* Leading Investment Bank is in need of C++ Sybase Developers for a Regulatory Reporting Group. Regulatory, which develops, maintains and supports technology required for real-time reporting (*Reporting Hub*). *Reporting Hub* receives trades from various trading and sales system, identifies *reportable trades* based on business rules and sends them to reporting gateway and processes the responses. The multi-tier system is developed in C++ in Solaris environment with Sybase data store and uses asynchronous messaging for communication between different systems. *Responsibilities include:* Learn existing systems and business flows to support all the aspects of application and business functions. Provide day to day support requiring investigating and fixing trade reporting issues like late reporting, wrong reporting etc. Interact and interface with various technology teams and regulatory operation team. Implement new business or technology requirements. Participate in design and code reviews and enforce best practices *Experience/Skills* Strong hands-on delivery focused technologist for application analyst/developer role 4-5 years of solid software development experience in C++, Sybase and UNIX environment. Strong OO concepts, analysis and design experience for distributed systems in enterprise application environment.
