*Role: VMware Engineer Location: Quincy and Boston, MA *
*Duration:12+ Month Contract Description:* - Strong hands on work history with the following technologies: VMware vSphere, EMC VNX, Cisco UCS, MS Windows, Linux Redhat. - Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Management and other related Microsoft Windows components. - Experience in configuring virtual environments with a focus on high availability and scalability of architectures. - Current working experience with setting up, configuring and managing virtual infrastructures running VMware vSphere 5x and 6x. - Extensive knowledge and experience in performing physical to virtual, virtual to virtual server migrations. Experience should include knowledge and experience with migrating data with a focus on data integrity and troubleshooting file security issues. - Ability to build, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Servers 2003, 2008, and 2012, both physical and virtual. - Develop server solutions and implement within a complex virtual environment. - Extensive experience (5+years) with VMware versions, current and older, including the ability to make design decisions for new implementations. - Ability to troubleshoot all layers of vSphere and related components. - Experience designing and implementing physical and virtual system disaster recovery Solutions. - Ability to make design decisions on leveraging storage in the VMware vSphere 5x and 6x environment. - Ability to install and configure VSAN within a VMware 6.x environment. - Perform software product installation, configuration management, maintenance, testing and documentation within a complex technical environment that includes (but is not limited to): Cisco UCS (UCS Manager, Nexus and Catalyst switches) , VMware (vSphere, VSAN, etc.) EMC (VNX, Avamar), Microsoft related products (Windows, SQL, Exchange etc.) and running Oracle on VMware. - Install and maintain storage infrastructure SAN, NAS and backup. - Ability to install and configure LUNs for best performance. - Install upgrades and patches for Cisco UCS, EMC, VMware, Microsoft and other products. - Backup strategies and data retention including backup to disk and to the Cloud (public or private). - Ability to lead client requirements gathering discussions and translate high level business requirements into technical designs and practical solutions. - Develop best practices with respect to process and documentation/templates. - Transfer knowledge to other team members and share new ideas to improve products or processes. -- *Thanks,* *Jaya Chandra* *T T Technologies* *Direct: 646-829-9191 Ext 103* *EMAIL: chan...@t3incorp.com <chan...@t3incorp.com>| URL: *www.t3incorp.com <http://t3incorp.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
