*Position : QA Analyst.* *Location: Phoenix ,AZ* *Duration: 6+ months * *Interview: Phone then Skype* USC/Green Card only Rate: $40/Hr Here is the job Desc: *Primary Responsibilities: * Analyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to over see Creating and execution of test cases for multiple large business initiatives. * Ability to write test cases and execute testing within web service environment * Product test and driving defect resolution * Assist business users in defining User Acceptance Testing, test cases and plans * Establish and maintain test cases and test data * Create and maintain test cases in ALM * Create and maintain Reports tracking execution and defect activity daily * Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance * work with project manager, system analysts, designers and programmers to create and analyze various required project documents. * meet with project manager, system analyst and programmers weekly to provide status/discuss issues blocking testing. * oversee and manage assignments, working closely with offshore resources. Report status and escalate issues as needed. * Participate in production implementation verification and being accountable for validating system quality. *Experience working with Offshore resources a must * Experience working on AGILE projects * Participate in Estimating/planning meetings * Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects. * Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhacnements that may impact data, workflow and or functionality within information technology software. * Comply with standards of the software development life cycle and follow strategies, plans and procedures within information technlogy software. * Comply with standards and strategies of the software Requirements: * Batchelors degree or high school diploma/ged +3 yrs of equivalent experience. * 3+ years of recent QA experience analyzing and writing scripts *3+ years of experience as a QA lead or as a QA Manager Assets: * Experience with Software Development life cycle (SDLC) preferable with AGILE * Experience with SOAP UI, XML, SQL, SPY and SUbversion for testing * Experience working with ALM, RALLY or equivelant * Project management experience - estimated, planned/managed projects * Experience working/managing assignments with offshore resources as well as resources located in other locations (i.e, Hartford, Minnesota, Arizona, California, etc.,) Typical Day: This position doesn't consist of much hands on testing, there will be occasion when you are needed to assist or do testing if required to be done onshore, the ideal candidate will have recent history creating and running tests (ie., running queries). The primary responsibility is over seeing/tracking and assisting with writing the Test Plan and Test Scripts. You will be working with the offshore team to review specs for current and upcoming projects and need to be able to identify/validate and communicate data needs and oversee the daily operation of teams. This position will work hand in hand with the project manager in order to complete assigned tasks from start to finish. In this position, you will be working with other qa leads to share status, updates on current projects and report the information to upper management. you will be overseeing/supporting both quarterly releases, as well as supporting monthly releases, averaging of 3 releases per quarter. you will be required to have a working knowledge of the full software development life cycles (SDLC) and know the difference between UAT and integration. Expected to be QA Lead in Agile sprint sessions, raising questions/identifying impacts, estimating tasks, managing team of agile testers, making sure all documentation is completed on time, etc.,.
