*Job responsibility and requirements:*
We need a resource that can design new web screens based on the input from
the business.
The resource has to know what can or cannot be done which would put DWD out
of compliance with 508 (ADA standards) and browser compatibility.
Good communication skills will be key with the technical knowledge of WC
standards.
*Description of Duties:*
-Design, create, test, and maintain application web sites
-Analyze requirements to determine the most effective web technology
solution
-Design sites which adhere to section 508 standards, W3C standards, and the
Indiana Office of Technolgy and Department of Workforce Development
standards, assist in refining Department of Workforce Development standards
-Develop sites which support cross-browser compatability for the following
browsers; Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and the major mobile
browsers; Opera Mobile and Mini, Safari, Google Android, Firefox Mobile,
and Microsoft IE for Mobile
-Work with Java developers to integrate new sites and presentation layer
technologies with application code and convert existing sites to more
current presentation layer technologies
*Skillset Requested:*
Programming Language/Development Tools
-HTML 5, JSP, Bootstrap 3, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery (Advanced) - Fewer than
3 years of experience should be focused 80% or more in the listed
languages.
-Tiles 3.0.5, RAD or Eclipse, Clear Case/Clear Quest (Beginner) - 1 year
Database Systems/Database Tools
-Oracle (Beginner) - 1 year
Frameworks/SLDs/Methodologies
-Spring4 (Beginner) - 1 year
QA/Testing - Approaches, Applications
-PowerMapper (Beginner) - 1 year
