*Position : Data Systems Engineer* *Location : Southlake, TX* *Duration : 6+ months contract* *In need of Jr. and Sr. consultants* *Jr. - $45hr CTC* *Sr. - $60hr CTC * ****Experience with multiple data sources like SAP, Hana, Hadoop and PLC systems such as Rally, Jira, SNOW, PPM.** Work directly with others in the organization to engineer data solutions that will ensure our corporate systems are well integrated, and our people have efficient and effective access to business insights. Expected Outcomes 1.) Create all levels of data diagrams, process flows, and lean requirements to effectively understand current state and communicate/document future-state data design as a part of a team that is re-engineering the business platform that Sabre runs itself on. 2.) Active participant in the Corporate Systems Engineering team driving design, development, testing, validation, and documentation of processes and technologies built to meet our Data Integration and Business Insights needs. 3.) Help drive optimized systems integrations and business insights by measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our insights and integrations. Competencies • Above all this individual must be able to perform Systems Engineering practices within the complexity of a technology company (ex. understand the problem before you try to solve it, translate the problem into measurable requirements, examine feasible alternatives, consider the total system lifecycle, test/validate the total system before delivering it, and document everything). • This person must be able to apply Systems Engineering disciplines to a technology company within the domains of software design, relational and multidimensional database software, data relationships, and software product management, marketing and sales platforms, business insights and data services, and finance and accounting processes and technologies. • Must be able to communicate that knowledge and work with all levels of people within the company using highly honed consultative skills • Solid experience creating data validation strategies to ensure the quality and accuracy of the information in the new environment • Accountable - Acknowledgement and assumption of responsibility for actions, products, and decisions.
