If you have any suitable profile please send the resume in word format to [email protected], you can also reach me at Phone : 609-606-9010 Ext 1786 *Position: Oracle DBA* *Duration: 6 Months* *Location: Austin, TX* *Must Have:* · Strong Informatica Experience · DBA Background · Strong Communication skills. · Specializes in Oracle and SQL Server DBMS administration, analysis, and support. · Leads and conducts full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, developing analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements in databases. · Develops and maintains data dictionary for database, codes/directs others to input data and database descriptions and specifies identifiers of database to DBMS. · Performs logical and physical data modeling, designs dimensional and relational database models, and creates physical data models from logical data models. · Expert SQL query writer and optimization and tuning skills, report writing and presenting findings. · Calculates optimum values and sets database parameters, such as amount of memory, storage requirements and predicted growth, database search strategies and data security. · Coordinates the use of data to ensure data integrity and control redundancy, loads databases, and reorganizes, as needed. · Provides user support. Grants database access to requestors, assigns database user roles and specifies what data may be accessed by each user role. Supports obtaining data/information when EIR Accessibility issues arise. · Reviews data behaviors and database performance. Directs programmers and analysts to make changes to DBMS to maintain an efficient data repository. · Assists in benchmarking and threshold testing of databases and with establishing and controlling necessary database security. · Establishes physical database parameters to develop and implement database.
