*MicroStrategy Report Developer Location : Wayne, NJ*

*Duration : 12+ months   *

*Position Responsibilities:*



• Create, test, maintain and/or document solutions comprising of
MicroStrategy Reports and MicroStrategy/Visual Insights Dashboard or
applications (including, but not limited to metrics, filters, templates and
prompts), as well as custom SQL reports.

• Develop a wide portfolio of reports and dashboards that will support
multiple business partners throughout the organization.

• Provide intelligence on the capabilities and functionalities of
MicroStrategy Visual Insights and identify the optimal data solution.

• Ability to work with little or no documentation and ability to reverse
engineer the existing MicroStrategy report builder structures.

• Facilitate requirements gathering and discovery sessions from business
leads.

• Design and build internal performance dashboards/reporting, across all
areas of the business, with an emphasis on a Leadership Level performance
suite.

• Collaborate with IT development and user experience teams on the design
and presentation of data and analytics for IT based solutions.

• Coordinate UAT sessions with business partners.

• Take large amounts of complex data and simplify for a general audience.

*Position Requirements:*



• Bachelor degree in a quantitative discipline, (Computer Science, or
Engineering). MS in a quantitative discipline highly preferred.

• 3+ years of demonstrated capability on Microstrategy reporting and
Dashboarding. 2+ year experience with Tableau is a nice to have.

• Must have solid experience in MicroStrategy Visual Insights report
builder and Dashboard creation.

• Solid experience in Business Intelligence domain and solutions is a must.

• Most have solid knowledge of SQL.  Understanding of Excel/Access VBA and
Macros, Data Modeling and Statistical analysis is highly desirable.

• Experience with EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) is highly preferred.

• Experience working with large data volumes with superior analytical and
quantitative skills.

• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete
assignments with minimal supervision.

• Strong interpersonal skills including ability to work in a cross
functional environment and communicate with all levels of the organization.

• Strong oral/written communication.
