This position is responsible to regularly interact with various development teams, project manager, business analysts, and end-users. The solutions created will support enterprise level reporting star schema data marts. This person will facilitate and actively participate to identify and define business rules and transformation logic for the next phases of the integrated data mart (optimized for dimensional design) for COMPANY, in support of reporting performance and ease of use. The resource will work with COMPANY project management to schedule and conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and project team members and one-on-one interviews with business resources and reporting end users. This person will provide guidance for creating comprehensive and deployable data models that represent solid business requirements and are implementable by DBAs, ETL developers, and report developers. The position will focus on solution delivery while maintaining good data modeling disciplines.
