This is different than a background in wealth management or capital markets trading and should include fund management understanding for mutual, pension and hedge funds. Middle office functions like fund accounting, net asset value, pricing, as well as shareholder services, reporting and treasury . They want someone who has done Agile methodology and has run the daily scrum meeting, written the requirements in terms of Epics, Stories, with acceptance criteria and user test cases. This person should also be able to mentor the less experienced. They also want someone who will take ownership and own the backlog while working closely with the project manager and scrum master. The resumes should talk about what they did, not the functions that were performed.
