Position: Tibco Engineer Location – Jersey City, NJ Duration: 6 Months *Job Duties & Responsibilities:* The systems administrator/engineer manages the implementation and support of Tibco AMX, EMS and Hawk across multiple applications. Individuals in this role serve as a liaison between Operations, Infrastructure and Application Development regarding the implementation and maintenance of the environments, improve existing processes and provide support for development, test, disaster recovery and production environments. This individual will function as one of the subject matter experts for the middleware environment Deploy manage, monitor and maintain Tibco Enterprise Middleware. Build the environments to support deployment of new services Provide 2nd and 3rd level support and rotating on-call support. Open problem tickets with Tibco and follow through to resolution Research new technologies and products. *Required Skills:* Experience with AMX, EMS and Business Works administration, design and installation. - Unix/Linux administration. - Moderate scripting skills: Any of Shell Scripting, Java/JScript, XML and PERL. - Experience designing logical and physical infrastructure layout.
