*Position ::: **Devops/SCM Admin* *Location ::: NC-North Carolina/RtpDuration ::: 6+ Months Job Description::* Looking for talented people to help implement, enhance and support our SCM/DevOps environment. Primary focus will be on setting up, maintaining, and supporting SCM systems (ClearCase, Subversion, Git, etc). An ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to adapt to changing needs, have a good understanding of software development, and be well versed in supporting configuration management systems. Candidate must be capable of migrating teams from 1 SCM system to another. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate to clients and teammates, be capable of addressing issues in a proactive manner, and be an independent problem solver. The candidate must be experienced and proficient in the administration of SCM systems in an enterprise environment with past experience in Git. Additional experience with other SCM systems, including ClearCase, Subversion, GitLab, Gerrit, GitHub and BitBucket highly desirable. The candidate will be part of a team responsible for supporting existing SCM instances and migrating teams from 1 SCM system to another. *Roles and Responsibilities:* • Work closely with our engineering clients to understand their existing SCM requirements • Migrate engineering clients from legacy SCM systems (ClearCase) to newer SCM systems (Git-based) • Setup, Administer and Support instances of ClearCase, Subversion, Git, Gerrit, GitHub, Stash • Create and manage organizations, teams, projects, users within various SCM systems • Ensure proper security is in place for access control • Integrate with Jenkins for Continuous Integration, Delivery and Build Management • Integrate/Utilize Jira for issue tracking and project management • Establish and consult on best practices and procedures for development and support • Collaborate with others to troubleshoot and resolve escalated production issues *Required Skills:* • BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) and 5+ years’ experience in a software development environment • *Minimum 2+ years of SCM Administration and Support experience* • Experience integrating with DevOps applications • Experience migrating teams from 1 SCM system to another. • Working knowledge of additional version control systems (Git, SVN, Perforce, ClearCase) • Ability to use Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc • Strong oral and written communication skills addressing multiple levels of engineers and management • Ability to execute with minimal supervision • A team-oriented player *Additional preferred skills:* • Experience with monitoring tools and their implementation (Nagios, Sensu) • Experience with configuration management (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt Stack) • Experience with CI build tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven) and artifact management (Artifactory) • Understanding of networking (DNS, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP) • Understanding the Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle • Understanding of Dev/Ops • Experience with programming/scripting for automation and monitoring purposes (Perl, Java, Python, etc) • Understanding of webpage management (Apache, HTML, etc) • Familiarity with SRM/Remedy • Familiarity with FlexLM *We are going through Prime/Preferred vendor for this position... * Regards, Nikita Tyagi (Technical Resource Specialist) *RAMY Infotech Inc.* ...consulting redefined *5201 Great America Parkway Suite 320**, Santa Clara* Phone : 408-317-9256 x 312 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
