Please go through the JD and let me know your interest. * Role :* Mainframe consultant with C++ * Location :* Cincinnati, OHIO *Skillsets Required:* · Excellent analytical skills and an understanding of Payment Industry concepts. · Very good learning ability. · An idea of Mainframe systems, concepts of data sets and generation. · Should have a good knowledge about Windows systems (as a user POV) · Experience in troubleshooting and problem resolution with proper SLA and ticket updates. · Experience in DB2 SQL scripting and stored procedures. · Experience in submitting mainframe production jobs. · The application has Linux servers in scope too. A basic understanding of Linux file systems and ability to navigate within the filesystem is required along with running shell scripts and power broker commands. · Basic understanding in C++ and concepts like Windows services. · Experience in onshore-offshore support model. · Experience in Production Support with on-call in extended hours. · Customer Centricity. · An excellent communication skill is a must. The candidate needs to work with business stakeholders for requirement gathering, understanding service requests and concerns, work with client and multi-vendor teams to accomplish task completion or incident/problem resolution.
