*Location : * * MD-Maryland/BaltimoreDuration : 12+ Months * JOB DESCRIPTION • This will be a blend of system administration and developer. • This position will be maintaining and administering an existing implementation used to provide content. • Light enhancement/development experience is nice to have. • Oracle Content Management is the software product, but they will take Websphere Content Management admin experience and train them on Content Management. SUMMARY: • Responsible for providing second level engineering design function for engineering review of production networks or systems. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: • May act as technical merger and acquisition lead and as a SME among peers, management and senior management. • Provides trouble resolution and serves as point of technical escalation on complex problems. • Creates presentations and seeks IT management approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major business systems. • Sets vendor strategy and direction and may be assigned to project teams for technical consultation to business partners and developers. • Designs and engineers comprehensive technical solutions based on business requirements and defined technology standards. • Works with Architecture to update technology directions and strategy and develops reports supporting strategy and direction for management. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • Requires BA/BS degree or equivalent in combination of education and experience. • 8+ years’ experience in information systems, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management; significant experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. SKILLS: • Incumbent should also have expert knowledge of and expertise in at least one core infrastructure technology; can utilize this knowledge in strategic decisions and demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring skills.
