*Position 1:* Description, Required Skills, Education, Experience: Primary Initiative: The Senior Software Engineer will perform complex software design tasks and will provide thought leadership on the design, development, build, deploy and maintenance of complex systems/products/projects. Secondary Initiative: This role will serve as an SME on a Trade Market product/application and will be required to gain complete understanding of business requirements and communicate them to development teams. This role will mentor and lead junior software engineers/developers while ensuring development practices are in line with company best practices and policies Job Duties & Responsibilities: This role will be part of the team responsible for the re-architecture, design, development and launch of the next generation code base aligned to the future state platform architecture. Responsibilities: • Performs product design & troubleshooting exercises of extremely high complexity which require extensive research and analysis. • Leads system design and specification development, program Will be logic and flow-charting, testing, debugging, and documentation. responsible for making complex design choices to be used by the development teams. • Leads moderate to highly complex programming tasks, providing review of various development tasks and documentation. Provides analysis of problems and recommends solutions. • A key contributor in client/technology interactions in the development of technology solutions • Will interface with Enterprise Architecture & Infrastructure teams on strategic designs and initiatives. • Leads the troubleshooting of complex problems in development and production environments, ensuring timely resolution of issues. • Mentors more junior engineers/developers, serves as an SME on their system of expertise and directs the work and assigns development tasks of junior engineers/developers. Required Skills: *• 5+ Years of Core Java and web/internet based programming experience (both client and server side) • 5+ Experience with OOA/OOD, distributed systems/software, real time processing, relational database systems, messaging systems • Experience with agile, test-driven development • Experience with rich UI frameworks like Angular JS, jQuery, DOJO, Ajax, HTML 5, Swing, OR similar frameworks/APIs • Experience with application development frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Struts or similar frameworks* • Experience with SOA and Web Services • Experience with Unix/Linux, Windows Operating Systems • Experience with build, deploy and test automation tools like Ant, Maven, Hudson, Jenkins, Cruise Control, Selenium OR similar tools • Demonstrated experience working with core business logic within applications • Experience in developing APIs and Frameworks • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline *Location: MI-Michigan/Ann ArborContract Duration:6+ months* *Position 2:* The candidate will be working on a new initiative with includes revamping the existing offer management system. Qualified candidates will have 5-8 years of experience with UI Development (JAVA) and experience and understanding with how the front end of the system communicates with the back end of the system. Candidates who possess marketing applications experience will also be a fit for this position as the client is building out upon an existing marketing application framework – the existing system that the client is operating includes trades and, commissions. The goal of this project is NOT to build a new trading platform or system. The goal is to enhance the existing system to enable better listening to the trading platform which provides offers to customers based on trading activity in a web-based format. The client is seeking a technical Sr. Developer (No Leads, Architects, BA’s, QA’s, or DBA’s) with the following skill sets: *•JAVA - front end development (UI or UX)•Angular.js OR Node.js•MVC Pattern* •Framework awareness or development •AOP (Aspect Oriented Programming) *•SOAP or Rest based services•Spring Framework* •J2EE •Test Driven Development •Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) •Messaging Queues (MQ) •Latest version of Oracle Data Base •Unix ORLinux – Shell Scripting - all boxes are Linux. •Test driven develop experience – JSAN and JUnits – this is the concept they are trying to deploy.
