*Monitoring Analyst*

- Description
- Supports with reporting and analysis.
- Develops report specifications of data requirements and provide
analysis.
- Supports the team in the preparation and submission of financial
and progress reports as required.
- Creates and prepares documentation, reporting and metrics.
- Supports in gathering, defining, documenting and clarifying
business requirements.
- Works cross-functionally on development and implementation of
projects and ensures the success of projects/programs.
- Requires a strong understanding of discipline.
- Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and
develop recommendations.
- Makes decisions within broad parameters.
- Acts as an informal resource for others with less experience.
- Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Configuration of IBM Tivoli Network Manager
- Configure and maintain Discoveries
- Create new Devices and manage MIBS
- Work with Object Server and Impact policies to integrate ITNM
monitoring
- Help with planning proper sizing and architecture for the Netcool
Environment
- Assist in the configuration of probes and various other Netcool
products.
- Preferred:
- Advanced Linux Skills
- Advanced Bash, KSH, CSH, and Perl scripting
- Advanced DB2, MySQL Configuration and query skills
- Advanced Networking skills including SNMP development.
- Ability to create Dash/Jazz/TCR reports and Dashboards
