LAUDERDALE, FL DURATION: 3 MONTHS WITH EXTENSIONS The Software Automation Test Engineer is responsible for creating a test automation framework to validate quality of moderate complexity web applications, build a suite of automated tests, and perform continuous test execution to help maintaining product quality standards. Produces, maintains, and provides feedback on test artifacts. Executes both automated and manual software test cases, document, and report test case status. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Collects logs and creates detailed documentation of defects. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and drives corrective action. Assists development engineers in resolution of problems. Designs, implements, and maintains test bed/lab. Selects appropriate methods and techniques to resolve issues. Maintains and drives continuous quality improvement in meeting internal and external customer requirements. Communicates and coordinates with managers, peers, and developers to build alignment between cross-functional groups. Education and Experience: · Minimum 3 years of experience developing scripts using test automation tools, such as QuickTest Pro, Selenium, and Rational Tools. Record and playback experience will not be considered · Strong knowledge and experience Testing Java or PHP Web-based applications Working experience in designing data-driven automation framework is required · Experience with Test Case Management Tools, such as TestDirector for Quality Center or Rational Quality Manager Proven experience in software testing methodologies, techniques, and approaches · Working knowledge of software engineering and quality assurance processes Programming experience in at least one of the following: Java, Perl, VB, JavaScript, or related · Experience with stress testing tools (preferably JMeter) · Excellent knowledge of Web-based application design, including database access, security, client-side presentation and scripting (HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shell). · Proficiency level with SQL database queries and back-end testing Solid networking and troubleshooting knowledge Solid written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical skill and sense for usability, design, and agile development Knowledge of Test Maturity Model, CMMI, and IEEE Standard on SW Test Documentation, Quality Metrics, and Methodologies Working knowledge of Jira or similar defect tracking software is a plus Experience in creating test cases and executing testing in cloud environments is a plus · Highly proficient in a Unix/Linux environment (RedHat) · Deep knowledge of internet technologies · BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent Thanks & Regards Rahul 703-880-5282 Email: ra...@tammina.com Im: rahul.tammina www.Tammina.com <http://www.tammina.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
