Candidates should have hands on systems, product design and development
experience in the financial services sector. We require a working knowledge
of
the business environment and an in depth knowledge of the technology tool
sets
used in the FS industry. Our candidates should have 5 - 10 years plus of
financial
services experience with a strong emphasis on securities processing,
business and
systems analysis skills. A must is to have a good level of experience with
various
combinations of the following types of projects, business applications and
systems:
1.) Collateral management systems,
2.) Stock loan/stock lending systems,
3.) Mutual fund portfolio accounting systems,
4.) Custody management systems,
5.) Capital markets projects and systems,
6.) Equities trading applications,
7.) Fixed income trading systems and projects,
8.) Derivatives trading applications and projects,
9.) FX trading applications and systems,
10.) Order management & order routing systems,
11.) Clearance and settlement systems,
12.) Capital markets risk management systems or projects,
13.) Mutual fund tax lot accounting and/or cost basis accounting systems,
14.) Personal trust portfolio accounting systems,
15.) Master trust portfolio accounting systems,
16.) Investment portfolio analytics and performance measurement systems,
17.) DTC subsystems experience, and
18.) financial services compliance and regulatory systems.
*Functional Skills:*
The functional skills, knowledge or abilities that are preferred for our Sr.
Business Analyst candidates are as follows:
1.) Proven deep domain knowledge within financial services
2.) business analysis skills,
3.) business problem solving capabilities,
4.) business requirements definition and documentation skills,
5.) defining and driving workflow re-engineering requirements,
6.) process optimization and automation experience
7.) familiar with methodologies like Agile & lean,
8.) identifying and defining workflow reengineering opportunities, and
9.) experience with software product evaluations and recommendations.
If business analyst candidates have experience with the following company
products, applications or software, it would be a plus: 1.) SunGard Adaptiv,
2.) Omgeo ProtoColl, 3.) Lombard Colline, 4.) Rockall STOC, 5.) Integridata
CAARS, and 6.) Algorithmics Algo Collateral.
