Job Title:* *Unix Linux Admin** 3 months duration until Mid January . . . Rate to $*48*/hr on C2C This is a backfill for a consultant who left the project They cannot wait for 2 weeks notice, candidate must be available immediately. They prefer someone local to Cincinatti OH - Manage UNIX/Linux systems - Assist with NOC functions (monitoring, alerting, reporting) - Assist with rudimentary network requests (documentation, port - activation, DNS, email) - Assist Engineering Team with application level configuration, - patching, etc. (Oracle, etc.) - Assist Windows Group with VMWare configuration/amaintenance, and - hardware/SAN connectivity. - Day to day administration of all UNIX machines in the Audit compliant - environment - Patching and subsequent paper work required. - Maintained runbooks for all UNIX and Network systems - Maintained Network Management System (Whats UP and Nagios), which - requires frequent care. - Maintained all IDS sensors.
