Position: Siebel apps DBA Located onsite Dallas, TX Duration 6 - 12 months High Level Description: The team really wants someone who knows Siebel well and can interact with the Oracle Database. Be able to look at specific SQL and know what needs to be tuned. Performance and application tuning will probably be the resource's number 1 priority. Should have the ability to quickly be well versed in the Siebel data model - in order to make the right tuning decisions. In looking at the resource's career progression - almost better if they were a DBA first and then became versed in Siebel along the way. Application is using Siebel 8.112 and Oracle 11g.
