Respond to : [email protected] Position: Sr. Hyperion Consultant *(HFF) * Location: Pittsburgh, PA Duration: Long Term Contract *Requirements:* Extensive working knowledge of all facets of the Hyperion application version 9 including report writing and complex system maintenance are required. Experienced in creating reports using Excel add-in/Smart View, dashboards (Web Analysis) and Hyperion Reports. Expertise with system application maintenance, including: Metadata updates Business rule updates Calculation scripts updates and maintenance Report scripts updates and maintenance Report/Smart View Update Engage and coordinate activities amongst several co-workers, problem solving, and to quickly gain a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the Hyperion Financial Forecasting solution including Essbase, Planning, & Reporting. Experience with ODI/ETL Define standards and procedures and refine methods and techniques for data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) using ODI, Oracle PL/SQL or related tools. *Description:* Lead the execution of activities related to triage, modifications, enhancements, and performance tuning of the Hyperion Financial Forecasting application. Manager overall technical support of the Hyperion Financial Forecasting (HFF) application built upon Hyperion Planning version 9. Provide leading technical skills to fixes, enhancements and upgrades and act as a Liaison to vendor support. Perform and support Essbase ASO/BSO processes. Create, Maintain and update Hyperion Reports, Smart View and Web Analysis as needed from the ASO reporting cubes. Maintaining all reports to ensure changing reporting requirements (e.g. new reports) are met. Provide application objects security administration to the Workspace environment. Assist Technical Lead in updating Hyperion solution requirements and RICE Inventory through subsequent phases. Lead Report development including assisting in report design workshops; lead the development of report mockups; build reports and schedules. Creates business rules and test scripts and supporting documentation for the Hyperion solution. Coordinate any metadata modifications with the Hyperion Administrator and ODI Developer during build and test cycles. Oversee the unit test documentation for all application components including reports. Lead the creation of the testing strategy and coordinate all testing phases (develop test plan, write test scripts, coordinate test data preparation, manage testing process and defect resolution). Follow the established processes, change control procedures and toolsets. Work with other developers, designers, and architects to make sure the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals Support process team testing activities.
