*Accountabilities and Activities:*



Proven ability to develop and maintain productive and positive relationships
with customers, business and technical staff

Strong communication skills. 0-3 years working collaboratively with internal
or external clients to determine requirements in lieu of formal
documentation.

Strong initiative to seek out requirements and testing scope when little
formal documentation is provided a must.

Strong ability to identify testing or requirement gaps or complications.

Strong analytical skills. Able to drive down to the root cause of software
failures and communicate to project team members.

Able to identify areas for testing process improvement and implement them on
individual projects, with an eye on inter-project usability across the SQA
team.

Actively works with project team members to find ways to improve test
coverage and depth.

Able to document new process improvement for potential implementation across
other teams

Qualifications, Training and Experience:



0-3 years working on Project Teams managed by project managers as well as
self-managed high performing teams.

Solid manual GUI Testing skills

Minimum 0-3 years experience testing web applications (C#, .NET preferred)

Some comfort level with queries and basic table joins in MS SQL Server

Experience with a wide variety of testing approaches, including, but not
limited to: Risk Based, System, Integration, Functional, End-to-End,
Exploratory, and Agile.

Ability to estimate testing effort

Ability to develop test cases including GUI database validation.

Experience writing test cases with traceability reporting and statistics
back to requirements.

Experience with multiple defect tracking systems and typical defect
escalations procedures

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate with
all levels of project team members.  Able to escalate issues within project
team and drive towards solving collaboratively within team.

Understanding of how and when to escalate to PM and Cross-Functional Team
Lead.

Professional, respectful, courteous at all times. Actively utilizes conflict
resolutions skills.

Excellent at reporting accurate and timely status of testing efforts

Excellent at reporting critical risk items in a timely manner as it relates
to:

Keeping the software stable during test phases

Meeting SQA milestones
