Below is a quick assessment of the needs.
The ideal person would have the majority of the following experiences:
- Experience controlling and managing a medium/large Exchange
environment. The focus should be on performance, cluster control and
maintaining the OS in this environment.
- Experience with SQL cluster and control. Concern is not about the
application that use the clusters.
- A concern is performance, fail over, file system extension, OS
patching, etc.
- AD general knowledge including AD operation, upgrades, performance
etc. The group is currently planning a 2003 AD to 2008 AD for this summer.
- Major Citrix installation going on and numbers
Ø Integration questions have been coming up. If someone could help
withthis it would be appreciated.
- Need very solid Windows experience. This would include Windows 2000,
2003, and 2008. Could use all the various experiences including debugging,
standardization, performance, integration to
- VMware CIFS and SAN's etc.
- They have tools that help with patch (bladelogic) and have provisioning
- Scripts etc. But as part of the > Citrix installation they need to
modify some of the install images.
- Help with this would be appreciated.
- Someone to help track some of the project goingthrough the group. The
group is 5 total Systems Admins.
