*Position Description:*
•        Supports the design and development of a wide range of enterprise
and Risk Management data initiatives including Data Warehouses, Reference
and Market Data Management Systems within a fast-paced Hedge Fund
environment.
•    *    **Develop production-quality ETL processes using Informatica that
capture and deliver data from various sources including RDBMS (SQL
Sever/Sybase), flat files, Web Services and 3rd party proprietary formats.*
•        Set up job automation using an Enterprise Scheduler (Tidal)
•        Understands and captures data requirements and inherent business
rules across various business systems and builds an ETL process to support
the requirements.
•        Designs, implements database query and stored procedure development
standards.
•        Develop strategies to improve Data Quality.

*Skills:*
•        Minimum of 5 years ETL experience (Informatica).
•        Extensive experience with developing Data Warehouses/Data Marts
and/or Reference Data Management Systems.
•        Ability to work with business users and translate requirements into
database designs
•        Knowledgeable with programming in Transact-SQL (Stored
Procedures/Functions).
•        Experience with Sybase and MS SQL Server 2000/2005.
•        Understanding of Trading, Portfolio Management and Risk Management
Systems
•        Enterprise Reporting Tool experience (Business Objects)
•        OLAP
•        Tidal Scheduler (or similar such as Control-M, Active Batch,
Autosys)
