Please send resume ASAP to a...@dwlabs.com *Job Title: Oracle DBA.* *Location: Columbus OH* *Duration: 10 months contract.* *Rate : $42/hr on C2c MAX.* As a DBA will responsible for • Install Oracle Software, Create and Manage Database • Resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication and other data issues. • Work with other Information Architects and Database Designers to implement the physical data model. • Develop the database performance monitoring process and analyze data for optimization opportunities. • Manage on-site backup and recovery process. Qualification • Oracle version 10g and 11g is required • Solid skills in database performance factors, monitoring tools and tuning procedures • Experience with Oracle RAC, streams, Partitioning and Data Guard experience is required • Strong Database Management skills, including backup and recovery procedures • Solid skills in productivity factors and ability to understand impact of problem on overall database performance • Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes • Solid skills with one or more programming language and design technique. • Knowledge of third party products including Oracle's Grid Control and Light Speed applications.
