*Job Title : Linux Senior Systems Engineer* *Location: Elk Grove Village, IL* *Duration: 12+ months* * * *Must be available for face to face after phone interview * ** *PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/PROJECT: * *Develops Linux solutions in support of applications development projects* *Defines technical architecture for Linux systems* *Performs acceptance testing of hardware and software solutions* *Conducts project system design reviews* *Studies vendor products and makes recommendations to management based on the needs of the company and the ability to integrate with existing systems* *Provides support for Linux hardware and software technologies* *Monitors daily operations of server environment* *Installs, configures, and maintains servers* *Analyzes and coordinates resolution of server-based problems.
