Quality Analyst -Fixed Income OTC Derivatives Location: NYC Rate: $50/Hr C2C Resource: 1 Main Function The candidate will join a global team and will be specifically responsible for working with the OTC Derivatives Client Clearing team to establish a test approach. This role involves good understanding and End to End testing of ECN's (like Tradeweb & Bloomberg), Trade Capture Applications, Risk, P&L and Pricing applications. This will be a hands-on role and will including planning and tracking the scope for multiple releases and coordination with several development teams. The Fixed Income OTC Derivatives Client Clearing teams develop C#, SQL Server, Java, Excel and Oracle based Risk and P&L end of day system. The system covers all vanilla and exotic products traded by the Fixed Income desks globally.. Skills / Aptitude Required . QA Methodology . Strong communication skills, since job involves interaction with multiple teams. . Excellent problem solver with a commitment to thorough root cause analysis and business process improvement . Trade Capture / Risk & Pricing applications testing . Interest Rate Swaps and or Fixed Income domain knowledge . Automated Test Tools knowledge preparation of scripts using tools like QTP . Working knowledge on Mercury Quality Center and JIRA . Strong SQL queries . Knowledge on FPML Skills / Aptitude Preferred . Prior experience on any development languages like Java, .Net, Basic C# etc. .
