There will also be opportunities to work on ETL processes and reports. *Responsibilities* · Assist in forming data migration strategies to move data from schemas for older systems to schemas for new systems. · Create SQL and stored procedures to migrate large amounts of data. · Assist in developing and maintaining ETL processes . · Assist in developing reports against our data warehouse. *Skills Requirements* · 2+ Years of comprehensive experience with MYSQL database · Hand-on experience working with Linux or Unix platforms · Worked on multiple data migration projects on distributed OLTP databases. · Extensive hands-on experience in developing stored procedures, functions and triggers in MYSQL · Extensive experience in writing complex report SQL, writing routines for batch inserts and updates. · Hands-on experience with SQL/Procedure optimization techniques i.e. using EXPLAIN to analyze the SQL, adding indexes , rewrite SQL’s or recommend tuning DB parameter etc · Experience in developing comprehensive ETL process using ETL tools (preferred Pentaho ) OR should be proficient in writing Perl or Ruby routines to integrate SQL and Stored procedures · Nice To Have: · Data modeling and designing experience · Experience with CRM database schema migration. · 1+ years of experience in designing reports through Pentaho Report designer *Professional Attributes* · Must be responsible and accountable; enjoys collaborating and follows through. · Good written and communication skills. · Enthusiastic and outgoing with positive attitude. · Supportive with a roll-up-your -sleeves attitude towards getting things done.
