Escalate risks or project budget overruns to Technical management at the earliest opportunity. - Manage and actively participate in reviews (team, project and code). - Develop solutions for multi-channel delivery, including reuse and component based architecture. - Act as an ambassador for quality, industry and COMPANY standards. - Contribute to the strategy for COMPANY's Technology team. - Ensure that all solutions meet performance goals. Understand site optimisation strategies and be able to guide developers to develop light-weight solutions. - Identify commonly occurring tasks and processes / tools to increase efficiency. - Mentor and guide other Developers. * Qualifications and Experience:* - Extensive experience working as a Software Engineer. - Extensive experience of commercial website development. - A degree, ideally in computer science, mathematics or engineering is advantageous. - Experience working in an IT services, consultancy or creative and/or agency environment is advantageous.
