Overall DW design (OBIEE, OWB and Oracle DB) with an emphasis on DW design experience (preferably in Unemployment Insurance/Services). Perform the Dimensional modeling (logical) after participating In the requirement gathering process and high level physical DB layout, evelop partitioning, sizing, growth strategy for DW. Work with CMA Chief DW architect and address tasks/design in collaboration with hardware/Software assessment for Data warehouse (run ORION, etc.) and make recommendations. Scope out Phase IIB deliverables (5 data sources, Oracle/Mainframe environments) and complete document deliverables. Layout technology/configuration/data needed for ETL, OBIEE and BA Leads to obtain. Direct the DBA in physical DB activities and delegate/divide architecture work as appropriate between DBA and Solution Architect; in absence of DBA be able to perform these tasks.
