Job Tittle : Senior SQL Server DBA. Location: Bothell, WA or Atlanta, GA. Duration: 9 Months Contract Rate: DOE. *Reqiured Skills:* Total 10+years of IT 8+ years experience in a large scale SQL 2000, 2005 and 2008 environments. Advanced knowledge of multi-node clustered SQL environments. Advanced knowledge of Windows 2000, 2003 and 2008 server. *Education/Vocational Training:* A four year degree in computer science or equivalent. *Functional/Technical Skills (Must have’s):* Be able to work with little or no supervision and provide directions to peers. Ability to write and present reports and interact with vendors and senior management. Advanced knowledge of debugging and performance tuning stored procedures, UDFs and triggers. Advanced knowledge of index analysis. Advanced knowledge of data normalization. Advanced knowledge of various monitoring and tuning tools such as Profiler, Spotlight. Advanced knowledge of advanced installation and configuration procedures. Advanced knowledge of hardware, including clusters, RAID, multi-processor architecture, etc. Advanced knowledge of VBScript and advanced DTS, SSIS package design.
