*POSITION SUMMARY: * The successful candidate will be working on a complex but interesting project to help McAfee consolidate our global date centers into fewer locations. The project begins with deploying discovery technology to gather the world wide data center assets into a single repository. The repository will then be leveraged to support key initiatives for virtualization; modeling and visualization; and mapping network interdependencies among others. You will be teaming with a dynamic group of individuals that develop and implement technology solutions for data center migrations using network tools for decision making, planning and risk avoidance that establish a platform for a long term enterprise-wide run-manage solution. Past involvement with tool rollout and/or process development would be very beneficial, as well as significant knowledge of datacenter infrastructure and operations. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Under management of Sr. Data Center Manager: Advanced SQL Experienced - Intermediate to Advanced experience is a plus Advanced Excel Skills Database navigation - Data mining Analytical abilities to determine validity of results - not just report generators.
