Complete Description: Expedia Lodging Inventory Supply Team is looking for a data analyst to help them gain a better understanding of the patterns and trends of their data. This position requires strong database and querying skills as well as the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately, in writing, for the intended purpose and audience. The data analyst will be required to examine data to understand inter-relationships and correlations, use deductive reasoning to draw specific conclusions from a set of general observations, and use inductive reasoning to draw general conclusions from a specific set of facts. Tasks include identifying data trends or patterns, performing data auditing and validation, and resolving data issues or discrepancies. The data analyst will also be required to create documents illustrating data findings. • Expertise summarizing low level data and developing actionable reports and business dashboards • Experience working cross functionally, effectively communicating with end-users and technical specialists • Proficiency working with SQL Server (2008 preferred) • Deep understanding and working knowledge of relational database objects and design (tables, views, stored procedures, functions, etc) • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel • 4-year college degree or other applicable experience Thanks, Amer Khan Panzer Solutions, LLC -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
